  1. Use a Moisturizer in the Day and Night

The best time to apply a moisturizer on your face is after a shower and before going to bed. Most people tend to avoid doing any skincare routine before bed, and it is one of the most common mistakes. Whether you are tired, lazy or have any other excuse, you must not take your skin for granted. Not everyone is blessed with the best skin, so you must do your bit to get that flawless look. You must avoid using moisturizers with heavy fragrances and stick to the basics. On the other hand, people with mature, dry skin must stick to milk cleansers to help them hydrate the skin.

       3. Apply Sunscreens Every Day

Some people think that stepping out on a non-sunny day means they can skip the sunscreens. But, sunscreen is more than just protecting you from the tannin. It helps to protect you from the harmful UV rays of the sun that are present even in the absence of direct sunlight. Sunscreens also give you protection against various skin cancers, especially if you live in very cold countries at higher altitudes. You must use a well-known sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and should be applied fifteen minutes before heading out. Even people with darker pigmentation need sunscreen as hyperpigmentation is not very easy to correct. Do a few of your own findings and find out the best sunscreen for your skin type and your location. Also, try to avoid direct heat exposure and wear sunglasses, hats, scarf as much as possible. And, if you end up vacationing on a tropical beach island, make sure you are well protected. 

        4. Exfoliate a Couple of Times

Use a scrub on your face and the body a couple of times a week. If you don’t exfoliate your skin, the layer of dead cells will give you a dull and unattractive look. You must use a proper scrub to open up the pores first and then use a cream to massage on the face. A massage also helps to improve the overall health of your skin and regulates blood circulation. With proper blood circulation, you are able to remove the toxins from your skin, giving way to soft and supple skin.
