The Maidu Museum & Historic Site
Take a self-guided tour or join an organized tour through the Maidu Site. This Native American locale has been home to the Nisenan Maidu for thousands of years. Here, you can see an incredible collection of bedrock mortars, native plants, and petroglyphs.
At the Maidu Museum, you can learn about traditional Native American art and culture. You can also enjoy gallery full of contemporary Californian Indian art.
The museum is open to the public on Saturdays from 9 a.m to 4 p.m and open to groups by appointment Monday through Friday.
Blue Line Arts
Blue Line Arts is a contemporary gallery that showcases work by a variety of established and emerging visual artists.
You can take art classes, as well. The gallery offers courses in drawing, painting, and a range of other mediums for both children and adults.
