He said, “I am convinced of the fact that I am the first US President to who can cook very good lentilis which is magnificent.

Earlier, former US President Barack Obama said that the alliance between Indo-US could be a “crucial partnership of 21st
century” and the future pattern would depend on the young people of both countries. In the Town Hall organized by the Obama
Foundation, he addressed young leaders from all over India. He said that what he wants to focus most on his remaining career is
training the next generation leadership in the whole world.
Obama also said that he will continue to fight against discrimination and racial forces. He said that India, which is the
youngest population in the world, has a very important place for world. He said that both India and America have a lot of
diversity and they have many common values.
The former President said that the relationship between the two countries can be a decisive partnership for the 21st century.
He said, “I also believe that deciding the future structure depends on young people.” Questioned Obama about the discriminatory
laws in India on which he said that he did not want to talk about local laws but advised him to send his voice away So over the
concept of the separation.
Obama said that in the 1980s when he was in the College, many states of America had discriminatory laws against homosexuals.
Now many conservatives believe that people should not be discriminated against because of their sexual orientation Obama also
said that he had “privately” raised the issue of religious intolerance with India’s prime minister, Narendra Modi. Modi is a
Hindu nationalist whose more radical supporters have been accused of inflaming tensions with Muslims and other minority
communities in Hindu-majority India.
“A country shouldn’t be divided on sectarian lines and that is something I have told Prime Minister Modi in person . . .
People see the differences between each other much too vividly and miss the commonalities,” Obama said.
Tension between minority groups and religious communities in India, one of the world’s most diverse countries, have long existed,
but some critics in India think that intolerance has increased during Modi’s administration.
He advised young leaders to improve things and accept change as they can never get 100% in what they want.]]>
