Nexon Facelift

Tata Motors has recently launched the facelifted Nexon and Nexon.ev, with prices ranging between Rs 8.10 lakh and Rs 15.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Nexon is offered in four broad trim levels – Smart, Pure, Creative and Fearless – with varying powertrain options.

The facelifted Tata Nexon and Tata Nexon.ev has undergone significant styling changes and safety updates along with new engine and gearbox options. Here, we’ll explain all the variant-wise colours, engine options and features of the new 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift.

2023 Tata Nexon Colours

Tata cars offers the 2023 Nexon in a total of twelve colour options, including five monotone and seven dual-tone shades, providing a wide range of styles to suit your preferences. Based on a new Persona naming, each trim level features a signature colour option.

2023 Tata Nexon Specifications

Tata continues to offer the Nexon with two engine options: a 1.2 litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol and a 1.5 litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel. While the former makes 120PS of maximum power and 170Nm of peak torque, the oil burner produces 115PS and 250Nm.

Speaking of the transmission options, the diesel mill continues to be offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT units. However, the gasoline motor is now available with as many as four gearbox options, comprising a new 5-speed manual, a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT), and existing 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT units.

2023 Tata Nexon Variants and Top Features

Tata car has provided the facelifted Nexon in four trim levels – Smart, Pure, Creative and Fearless, which are further subdivided by the addition of “+” and “S” suffixes. Here the “+” denotes an additional feature package, whereas the S signifies a sunroof-equipped trim. Here’s a look at its complete list of variants: –

When it comes to features, the updated Nexon now includes necessities like LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED taillamps, a new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, multi-driving modes (Eco, City and Sport), six airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child seat anchors, reverse parking sensors, hill hold control, etc, even in the base-spec trim. Interestingly, buyers now also have the option to further enhance their selected variants with features like touchscreen infotainment, electric sunroof, automatic headlamps and wiper, and more, starting from the entry-level variant.

In its top-spec Fearless+ S trim, the Nexon also gets bi-function LED projector headlamps, LED X-factor taillights, sequential LED DRLs, front fog lamps with cornering function, digital instrument cluster with navigation support, auto AC with touch-based control panel, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, height adjustable front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, premium 9-speaker JBL sound system with subwoofer, iRA connected car tech with remote control functionality, Over-the-Air (OTA) updates support, air purifier with dust sensors, wireless smartphone charger, leather seats, 360-degree camera, front & rear parking sensors and blind-spot monitoring system.

Competition

In the highly congested sub-4m SUV segment, the Tata Nexon locks horns with the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
