Check Out a Museum or Art Show

Here are our favorite museums to visit in Roseville, California:

The Maidu Museum & Historic Site

Take a self-guided tour or join an organized tour through the Maidu Site. This Native American locale has been home to the Nisenan Maidu for thousands of years. Here, you can see an incredible collection of bedrock mortars, native plants, and petroglyphs.

At the Maidu Museum, you can learn about traditional Native American art and culture. You can also enjoy gallery full of contemporary Californian Indian art.

The museum is open to the public on Saturdays from 9 a.m to 4 p.m and open to groups by appointment Monday through Friday.

Blue Line Arts

Blue Line Arts is a contemporary gallery that showcases work by a variety of established and emerging visual artists.

You can take art classes, as well. The gallery offers courses in drawing, painting, and a range of other mediums for both children and adults.

Interested in computer graphics? You can learn how to draw anime on your iPad at Blue Line!

The gallery is open from 11 a.m to 5 p.m Tuesday through Saturday.

The Roseville Telephone Museum

In the mood for a bit of nostalgia? At the Roseville Telephone Museum, you can see a massive collection of antique phones from different points in history.

The museum is open on the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

Take in a Race at the All American Speedway

Looking for excitement, energy, and full-throttle entertainment? The All American Speedway hosts high-speed NASCAR races right in Roseville!

Taking place from April to October, the 2020 calendar of events has just been announced, so start planning your race days now.

Enjoy Some Live Music at Denio’s Market Plaza Live

They’re open on Fridays from 9 a.m to 2 p.m, Saturdays from 7 a.m to 3:30 p.m, and Sundays from 7 a.m to 5 p.m.

Running along the Miners Ravine and Dry Creek, this 8-mile trail is accessible all year round. It’s a great spot for your daily exercise routine or the occasional Saturday morning hike.

This trek definitely takes some endurance, but it offers a unique experience for beginners and experts alike. You can expect to see moms pushing strollers, casual runners on their morning jog, and cyclists training for their next race.

There’s a playground for the kids, the Cosmos sculpture if you want to snap some cool pics, and plenty of foliage to keep your eyes occupied.
