Shweta’s father Narendra Brahmbhatt is also a Congressman. He also contested municipal corporation elections in 2000 on Congress
ticket. Shweta always wanted to come to the Corpate World. Which she made it through the Masters, after which she taken degree of BBA
Ahmedabad for further study she went University of London, Westminster. After that she became an investment banker. she wanted

According to the Times of India news, she had come in politics to serve women. Shweta, wanted to start business and apply
loan from startup India in 2012, but couldn’t get help from startup community, so she decided to come to politics.
Shweta says, ‘My focus is not to defeat BJP. I believe that much work should be done in politics that people should follow
leaders, they want to be like them, in this way we can give a good example to the society. Congress is a party in the ideology
of secularism, so I chose it. ‘
Maninagar has been a BJP strong fort for decades. So how does she plan to turn the tide? “The constituency has a 75% voter base
consisting of persons under 40 and women,” she said. “Youth and women empowerment are my two focus areas.” Brahmbhatt said she
