Levittown is the brainchild of William J. Levitt, who developed more than 5500 acres of land. His work is the United States’ largest planned community, which was planned, built, and constructed by a single contractor. Neighborhoods

Levittown is made up of several municipalities, even if it has not been incorporated yet. Made of 41 neighborhoods, Levittown is divided in four separate municipalities. Bristol Township has sections of neighborhoods such as Dogwood Hollow, green Lynne, Birch Valley, Apple Tree Hill, and Red Cedar Hill, among others. The lakeside can be found in Falls township, while several orchards are in the sections of Middleton Township. Tullytown has the least number of areas, with the Lakeside, Pinewood, Kenwood, and Stonybrook comprising it. The borders of each municipality blur during the celebration of the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Each year, the parade launches from the St. Joseph the Worker Church to New Falls Road.
