On the railing, place a letter that you made earlier on with all of your feelings for them written down. While they are reading it, walk up behind them and hold both of their hands.
Lower yourself onto one knee as you look into each other’s eyes once again, but this time say “I love you” and ask them to marry you.
The Beach
This is fun and playful. It’s also cheap compared to the other options since you are just renting a hotel room. The best part about it is that there are plenty of beaches to choose from just by driving a few minutes away.
If you’re able to scrounge up some money, rent out a hotel room for the night. The beach is your backdrop, so all you have to do is find something nice and romantic to say while thinking about what kind of ring they would like.
Take them back to the hotel room and have a little picnic with champagne, strawberries, or their favorite flowers. Make sure to use an ice bucket so everything stays cold.
When it’s time, ask them to follow you out on the balcony. When they get there, hand them a letter detailing all of your feelings for them. Make sure that there is a ring inside the letter.
