Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition where people begin to feel numbness, tingling, pain, and weakness in their hands and wrist. It is usually caused due to pressure on the median nerve. This pressure can be caused because of the anatomy of the wrist, certain health problems, etc. In most patients, if the situation is not treated on time, it may get worse and can even lead to permanent dysfunction of the hand where the person will lose sensation in the fingers.
