Escape rooms are fun and exciting ways to challenge your mind and have a good time doing it. They can be less fun if you get stuck and can’t find your way out though. That’s why we have put together a few tips to help get you through the top escape rooms.

Start Right Away

There are multiple different types of escape rooms to choose from. Once you know what type of escape room you want and have entered, get started right away. You have a limited amount of time, so as soon as you can start looking for clues, do it.

Pay Close Attention To The Backstory

When they are telling you the backstory, you need to do your very best to catch and remember every little detail. This can help you get through the game much more easily. You never know what sort of hints and clues could be hidden in there.

Divide and Conquer

You will be completing the room as a group. To save yourself time, you should split up the room by sections and have each person have their own section. This will allow you to search for more clues and solve more puzzles at one time.

Communication Is Key

Whenever you find a clue, make sure you shout it out so that your whole team knows about it. You never know when one of your clues could help someone else solve one of their puzzles.

Work As A Team

With that being said, make sure you are working together as a team. Everyone has their own thought process and ideas to share. You won’t get very far if you don’t open your mind up to everyone’s ideas. It is always worth giving it a try.

Don’t Force Open Anything

If you come across a box or a door that isn’t meant to be opened, don’t force it. There’s no point in breaking a prop. If it was meant to open, it would easily.

Ask For Hints

You get hints, so use them! No point in wasting too much time on something when you could get a hint and solve it quickly. The staff will always be rooting for you, so use them to your advantage.
