Many of the companies on this list are based in the city limits of Los Angeles, such as the firm mentioned in this story. However, others are based in neighboring and nearby cities that are still considered to be part of Greater Los Angeles, or the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
The main cities that are included within this metropolitan area are: Los Angeles, Anaheim, Bakersfield, Burbank, Carson, Chino, Compton, Fullerton, Glendale, Irvine, Inglewood, Lancaster, Long Beach, Riverside, San Bernardino, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, and many others.
We will note the exact city each company is headquartered in, but it is important to note that the companies in this list are going to be headquartered throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area, not just the official city limits of Los Angeles.
