Troubleshooting Tips to Resolve Netgear Orbi Flashing Purple Issue

  • Reboot Your Orbi Device

What is the first thing that you do when any of your technical devices stops working out of the blue? You restart it. And that is exactly what you have to do in this case. If your Orbi router is continuously flashing purple, reboot your Orbi router immediately. To know how to do that, walk through the instructions mentioned below:

  • Unplug the Orbi from the power source and pull out all the cables attached to it.

  • Then, wait patiently for about 20 to 30 seconds and plug your Orbi back into the power source.

  • Press the Power button and let the LED light become stable.

  • Contact Your Internet Service Provider

The Netgear Orbi purple light issue won’t just make your WiFi device work abruptly but will also cause unwanted Orbi router login issues. To prevent that from happening, you need to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) right away.

When you contact them, ask them whether there is a problem from their end. Doing this will help you in resolving the purple light issue in a much productive manner.
