Khamzat ‘Borz’ Chimaev seems game to take on Darren Till in his next UFC fight. The 9-0 Swede is one of the latest UFC fighters to get heads turned, thanks to his impeccable record and ability to finish off opponents.
Khamzat is 3-0 in the UFC and has won all these fights in the span of 66 days. The 26-year-old made the news when he won his first two UFC bouts in a span of 10 days and in two different divisions, and seems to be the latest rising star.
The Swede is open to any challengers and had earlier spoken of opponents avoiding him. Khamzat has called out Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson, Demian Maia and a whole host of UFC stars.
However, Khamzat recently claimed that two top names had turned him down. The Swede revealed that Thompson was one of them and former Middleweight champion, Chris Weidman, was the other:
“I just want to let my fans know and the people who support me the ufc offer me wonder boy and he turned it down at 170 and also chris Weidman at 185 who also turned it down. I’m coming for everyone”
Khamzat has fought in the Middleweight and Welterweight divisions in the UFC and Till seems up to face Borz.
Picking one out of the three
Till is one of the most followed UFC stars on social media thanks to his meme game. However, he isn’t all that bad in the Octagon, though he was taken apart by Robert Whittaker in his previous fight.
The British star has an MMA record of 18 wins and three losses with all his defeats coming in his last four fights.
Till posted an image which featured Khamzat, Jack Hermansson and UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
It was Khamzat who accepted the challenge and retweeted that image by saying
“I will be ready”
Khamzat vs Till would be a great fight on all counts. The Swede would take on a top 10 ranked UFC star while Till could end the undefeated streak of Khamzat.
The UFC is yet to find the next opponent for Borz and it will be interesting to see what they have in store for their newest star.
