MPSA92, a high voltage PNP bipolar transistor, is designed for use in general-purpose amplifier applications. It can handle loads as high as 300V and has a minimal VBE trigger (VBE) that is just 5V. This feature is suitable for electronic devices that operate at 5V. Along with having the highest voltage rating of 300V, they also operate at a high speed of 50MHz, with an output capacitance that is low, at 3pF. However, the downside is its lower current gain of only 50 hfe and a low collector current of 500mA.
